Supplies:
Acrylic paints (black, blues, pink, purple, white)
Small foam brushes
Fine-tipped paintbrushes
Paper plates
Instructions:
Prep:
Paint the rocks with black acrylic paint. Allow time to dry.
Put each paint color on a paper plate.
Instructions:
Give each child a black-painted rock.
Starting with the darker colors first, children can dab the various paints onto one side of their rock to create their own galaxy. They can use the fine-tipped brushes to make dots of white on the rock to represent stars or planets.
