This website was created to showcase an Early Childhood Literacy program for a public library.  The calendar below will link directly to each program created for this project for a 12 month period starting January 2018 - December 2018.  You can also view these programs using the tabs found on the top of each page.

The programs have been geared toward children aged 0-8 years old.  The plan includes programs such as:

• Lap-sit Storytimes

• Toddler Storytimes

• Preschool Storytimes

• Therapy Dog Reading Programs

• STEM Programs  

• Bilingual Storytimes

• Sensory Play Storytime

• Explore and Soar Workshop

• Family Storytime

• Parent/Caregiver Workshops

 

Programs offer literacy tips for parents/caregivers, and/or programs include Common Core and AASL Standards. Many programs will also provide a sample of a parent/caregiver weekly newsletter, craft instructions, and/or templates for felt board, puppetsm and other tools to aid in children's learning.
